25th memories

Twenty Fifth International Pyrotechnics Seminar

The 25th International Pyrotechnics Seminar, held in conjunction with Euro Pyro 99 and the 7th International Seminar Groupe de Travel dePyrotechnie, was held in Brest France 7-11 July 1999. Society member, Joesph Refouvelet was the Chairman of the Seminar where over ninety papers were presented. The Seminar had 191 participants from fifteen countries.

The following Society members served as session co-chairman: Dr. Fred Volk, Dr. Bernard Douda, Dr. Naminosuke Kubota, and Mr. Alain Fauconnier. Society members who authored or co-authored papers presented include: Dr. Fred Volk, Dr. Takeo Shimizu, Dr. Naminosuke Kubota, and Mr. Rutger Webb. Society members attending included: Mr. Jean Claude Adenis, Mr. Beat Berger, Dr. Bernard Douda, Mr. Alf Eriksson, Mr. Alain Fauconnier, Ms. Octavia Frota, Dr. Trevor Griffiths, Dr. Guy Hendrickx, Dr. Bill Hubble, Mr. Michel Hugue, Mr. Alan Munger, Dr. Joseph Refouvelet, Mr. Raymond Rion, Mr. Lippe sadwin, Mr. Leo Saulnier, Dr. Takeo Shimizu, Dr. Bjorn Soderberg, Dr. Woodward Waesche, and Mr. Rutger Webb.
