7^th Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms

Mission

The WPC has been founded in 2004 to provide a forum for scientists and engineers working in the field of pyrotechnics to exchange ideas on pyrotechnic combustion mechanisms. There are annual workshops held in either Europe or USA often adjacent to the annual pyrotechnics seminar of the International Pyrotechnics Society.

The upcoming 7^th Workshop will be held on

August 22, 2009 in Rotterdam,

Past workshops have been organised since 2004. Documentation is available. Typically it is planned that all presenters publish a full papers in Propellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics or Journal of Pyrotechnics:

• The 6^th International Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms was held in Fort Collins, Colorado, (July 12^th 2008), in conjunction with the 35^th International Pyrotechnics Seminar
• The 5^th International Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms was held in Beaune Burgundy, France, on Saturday October 6^th 2007 in conjunction with EUROPYRO 2007 and 38^th International Pyrotechnics Seminar.
• The 4^th International Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms was held in Karlsruhe, Germany (June 25^th 2007) in conjunction with the ICT Seminar. Special Topic “Thermodynamic Models”
• The 3^rd International Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms was held in Fort Collins, Colorado, (July 15^th 2006) in conjunction with 33^rd International Pyrotechnics Seminar.
• The 2^nd International Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms was held in Pfinztal Berghausen, Germany (June 27^th 2005) in conjunction with the ICT Seminar.
• The 1^st International Workshop on Pyrotechnic Combustion Mechanisms was held in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA (on July 10^th 2004) in conjunction with 31^st International Pyrotechnics Seminar.
